Description
I am using VirtualBox 6.0 on Ubuntu 18.04 with (mostly) Windows clients. Recently I noticed that sometimes disks disappear from Windows, so in the client. I thought first it was with one Virtual Machine where I use IDE and SATA, but today I also noticed it in a client that uses SATA and SCSI. Neither Windows nor VirtualBox reports any error. Some disks just disappear. After restart of the client all disks are there again. I recently had hard disk problems, but I can't really relate to that as everything seems just fine and no errors are reported.

- It's usually better and faster, if issues get first addressed in the VirtualBox forums, a lot more eyes there. More than 95% of the issues are resolved in the forums, which keeps the developers focusing on the bug fixes and enhancements, and there is no need for another ticket to keep track of. For example, yours is most probably not a bug and someone from the developers has to deal with it and close it as "Invalid".
- You were supposed to follow these steps when you filed the bug, and provide a VBox.log: Please do that in the new thread that you're going to open in the forums...

Please reopen if still an issue with a recent VirtualBox release and attach at least a VBox.log of the affected VM after the disks disappeared.
